Ah, it's that time of year again. The days are getting shorter, the leaves are yellow, and university students everywhere are putting off doing work. Oh, and it's Halloween time. :-D It's amazing how well the two of them can go together.

Doesn't the Doctor make a lovely Harry? I can't decide who would be the bigger Harry Potter fan. Maybe the Doctor because he cried when he read book seven.

And an icon, because who doesn't like an icon. ;-)

Was suddenly in the mood to make some Buffy icons. The icons cover issues 1, 2, 3, and 6. Vague spoilers.

This was another fun one. You could use any picture of Giles or Tony Head that you wanted. I knew I just had to use an image from Tony from his appearance on Doctor Who. He was so wonderfully evil in School Reunion. :-D

First up, another shiny award from ripping_icons. I'm endlessly amused by the fact that the acronym for this award is BOB. :-)



Second, how awesome does Giles look on the cover for Buffy #7?

I seem to be going through a Polaroid phase with making icons. :-D

I was overcome with the urge to make an icon with Ten and Jack earlier this week and it sort of spiraled out from there.

This is what happens when I don't do work. I geek out and make some Firefly/Doctor Who icons. Anyway, since Doctor Who is back for its third series on Saturday, I thought I would post these.

Because I have, like, a month more of university before classes are done for the winter semester and then finals have to be written. Sigh.

I got distracted by some icon making. All the images are from issue #1 of the Buffy season eight comics. No spoilers as far as I can tell. Only one has dialogue included.

Should be writing Russian Lit. essay. Made nine Doctor Who icons instead. So: the Doctor and his sonic screwdriver (and no, that's not an euphemism).

Now has come the time when university students get a week off to prevent themselves from going crazy from all the school work that piles up around this month. To celebrate Reading Week, I present two Buffy icons. I'm not out to make super awesome icons, because there are people out there who are total pros, but I do like sharing.

Helpless is one of my fav episodes so it's the subject of my experimentation in Photoshop.


And so I commence a week of sleeping in, watching an outrageous amount of DVDs, and playing the Xbox until my fingers are numb. :-D

Okay, it's only one icon, but I made it when I should have been doing some Bio-Ethics homework. But if you want to put a positive spin on this, I got to practice some Chinese. I know how to say "Fear the Hair!" now. ;-)
